The rollercoaster begins
Picture this: I'm 44, ready to conquer the world, when BAM! Cancer comes crashing into my life like an uninvited guest at a party. I went from planning vacations and brunches with friends to navigating the wild world of chemotherapy, surgeries and radiation. And let me tell you, chemotherapy doesn't just mess with your health, it also comes for your skin! One moment I was 44, and the next I felt like I'd aged a decade overnight. Thanks, cancer!
Then came the mastectomy surgery, which left me wondering if I'd accidentally swapped lives with my grandmother! Plus, I'd put on ten kilos during chemotherapy.
Next stop: chemical menopause
Just when I thought I'd seen it all, I suddenly found myself in chemical menopause. Overnight! Hot sweats like you cannot believe. My skin now resembled a dry desert landscape, and I was officially in the "what is happening to my body?!" club. It was a challenging time, but I knew I had to find a way to reclaim my skin and, honestly, my sanity.
Discovering salmon DNA skincare
Yes, you read that right, salmon DNA! It's packed with skin-loving goodness, and it's been part of Korean skincare since around 2010. I'd been on the DIY beauty wagon since 2020, which is the year I discovered salmon DNA, and it felt like finding the fountain of youth. I loved that it was gentle, something I could do myself, and now, after cancer, I'm straight back at it. So what do I personally love about salmon DNA?

To help people take control of their skincare routines without breaking the bank. After all, I hadn't worked in over a year, and I was determined to make this work. Plus, who wouldn't want to share something that makes their skin glow?
For me, it's not just about selling a product, it's about sharing my journey and helping others feel confident in their skin, even when life throws a curveball. And please remember: I'm not a medical professional, just someone who loves healthy, glowing skin.
